The Fire Chief has rescinded the Fire Ban for the Township of Red Rock. However, burning of any kind is NOT PERMITTED until the Provincial Fire Ban has been lifted. Please wait for an official announcement from the Provincial Government before you start burning.

The Township of Red Rock will now be issuing Fire Permits to all residents. Please call the Municipal Office at 886-2245 during office hours (8:30-3:30) to request a permit. If you do not get through on the line, please hang up and try again. We expect high call volumes during this time, please be patient. You can also call Fire Chief Ryan Pitre at 631-8596 after office hours to request a permit. All permits will be mailed or emailed to you, please ensure that you have a copy of your permit at your time of burning.

When the Provincial Government lifts the Provincial Fire Ban, anyone burning within the Municipality MUST first obtain a fire permit. Residents must also adhere to all rules and regulations set out on the back of your fire permit.

Please ensure that you are following social distancing protocols and emergency order mandates while burning.

Have a safe and happy long weekend!
