Position: Manager of Public Works & Facilities
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
Location: Township of Red Rock
The Township of Red Rock is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as the Manager of Public Works & Facilities. This full-time contract position offers an exciting opportunity to lead the operations and development of key municipal services, including roads, infrastructure, parks, the recreation centre, and the marina.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Public Works, Civil Engineering Technology, Facility Management, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a municipal or public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, supervising staff, and overseeing capital projects and procurement.
- General knowledge of municipal infrastructure systems and facility operations.
- Experience with workplace health and safety oversight; certification or training in health and safety is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing reports and presenting to elected officials or senior leadership.
- Familiarity with municipal emergency management planning and response is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant operational software.
- Valid Class G Driver’s Licence
