Marina By the Bay

The 82-slip marina on the western shore of Nipigon Bay is protected by a breakwall that was built as an innovative demonstration project of the Lake Superior Programs Office. It integrates fish and wildlife habitat into standard break wall design.

Gas and diesel fuel, pumpout, water, electrical and launch facilities are available at the marina.

Things To Do at the Marina

A well-equipped playground in the Waterfront Park provides a welcome diversion for the junior member of the crew. A grocery store, convenience store, liquor and beer store, post office and automatic teller banking facilities are located within easy walking distance from the marina. Excellent, home-style meals are available at the nearby recreation centre which features a bowling alley, outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts. Boaters are always welcome at the historic Red Rock Inn which provides shower facilities, accommodation and casual fine dining.
