History of Red Rock

Reflections of Red Rock

The history section of our site offers visitors and residents alike a unique glimpse into Red Rock's early and recent past, from its indigenous roots and days as a booming North American centre for fur trade, to its transformation into a prisoner of war camp, and, more recently, a thriving hub for forestry, mining and tourism.

We invite you to take this journey to learn more about our home, as presented through "Reflections of Red Rock", a succinct account of Red Rock's fascinating past.
