Committee of Adjustment
The Committee of Adjustment is appointed by Council to grant minor variances to the Zoning By-Law.
A minor variance application is required when one or more regulations of the Zoning By-law cannot be met. The application is heard by the Committee of Adjustment. The application is viewed on the following merits:
The variance(s) must:
- Be minor;
- Be desirable for the appropriate development or use of the land, building or structure;
- Maintain the general intent and purpose of the Zoning By-law; and
- Maintain the general intent and purpose of the Official Plan

Application Forms
Minor variance application forms can be picked up at the Municipal Office, 42 Salls Street, Red Rock. The fee for processing the application is $50. The typical processing time is 30 days + a 20 day appeal period.
