Red Rock is a vibrant community located 100 km east of Thunder Bay in Northwestern Ontario. Named for the large red cuesta between Red Rock and Nipigon, Red Rock offers breathtaking scenery including rugged cliffs, verdant forests and sparkling rivers.

With a population of 1050, our community attracts many visitors and new residents with an appreciation for the outdoors. Red Rock is a growing community, providing an abundance of services and activities families and business.

Annual Summary Report

This report is available for viewing at the Municipal Office during normal office hours.

Weekly Garbage Collection:

Residential:* Note Change*
Wednesdays - Please have garbage at curbside by 7:00 a.m.

Rural and Commercial:
Thursdays - Please have garbage at road by 7:00 am.

Landfill Site Hours

Tuesday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
Thursday: Noon - 4:00 pm
Saturday: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Note: You will not be granted access if you arrive within 15 minutes of closing.

The Township of Red Rock is located at the end of Highway 628, 8 kilometers from the junction with Highway 11/17. Red Rock is lOO km east of Thunder Bay. The population is 1050.
